Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 2026-07-25
Our commitment
libi is built by one person, and we want it to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology. Accessibility is treated as part of the work rather than an afterthought, and we would genuinely rather hear about a problem than have someone quietly give up on the product.
What we have done
This website is built to target WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which is the standard referenced by Israeli Standard IS 5568. In practice that means we aim for:
- semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmark regions;
- full keyboard navigability, with visible focus indicators;
- text contrast that meets AA thresholds in both light and dark themes;
- text that reflows and remains readable when zoomed or on small screens;
- alternative text for meaningful images, and no reliance on colour alone to convey meaning;
- respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference.
Known limitations
We would rather be honest about the gaps than claim more than we can support:
- Some video and animated demonstration content does not yet have captions or an accompanying text description.
- The editor itself is a canvas-based video application. Direct manipulation of a timeline and a rendering canvas is difficult to make fully accessible to screen readers, and parts of it are not there yet. Much of what the editor does can be driven entirely by chatting with the agent in text, which for some users is the more accessible route.
- Third-party content we embed or link to is outside our control.
Legal status of this statement
The operator of libi is Nadav Nagel, an individual sole proprietor in Israel.
Under regulation 35ו(ז) of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility) Regulations, 5773-2013, a provider whose annual turnover does not exceed NIS 100,000, or who holds עוסק פטור status, is exempt from the accessibility accommodations required by that chapter. We currently rely on that exemption.
We publish this statement anyway, and we work toward the standard voluntarily, because we think the point of accessibility is that people can use the thing — not that a form was filed. If our circumstances change so that the exemption no longer applies, we will update this page and carry out the required accommodations.
Tell us about a problem
If you run into an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site or in libi, please tell us — it is genuinely useful, and we will treat it as a bug rather than a complaint.
Accessibility contact: Nadav Nagel — admin@nagellabs.com
Please describe the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you were using if any. We aim to respond within 7 business days.
